Soap making started out as a hobby, something I read about and instantly wanted to try! Like many who get into soap crafting I just had a desire to learn about  something I find absolutely intriguing. 

Once I did I was hooked. Soapmaking has given me the creative outlet I need. My love of gardening has been incorporated into the business as well and many of the soaps are made using dried herbs and botanical. These gifts from nature add a variety of qualities to handcrafted soaps. There are over  40 varieties of Ol'Factory Soaps including those that exfoliate, moisturize, heal and relax. In 2004 Ol'Factory Soaps & Scents "blossomed" into Ol'Factory Lavender & Herb Farm. The farm hosts the NY Lavender Festival each year!
